YES… YES… YES… It’s our favorite day of the week on any day of the week – “Weleful Wednesday”. Here we are in the last week of June, the middle of the year, and the middle of what will be the beginning to a victorious ending for 2020. YES INDEED. After all, we have come together in the #1 most sacred meeting spot existing on the web today!!! Thus, nothing can defeat us!!!
Last week and the first three days of this week we’ve experienced a little bit of what meteorologists call June Gloom. So, I began thinking about a few things and I asked myself a few questions. What would we do if life had no love, no music, or no June Gloom? Would we ever fully develop into the amazing people we were meant to be? Would we truly know the meaning of the life? Would we understand the rhythms and the hymns of the journeys we have taken and the journeys up ahead? Would we ever truly appreciate the beauty of the sunlight or the mere existence of clear blue skies, hazy grey skies, or puffy cloudy skies? Would we smile at the mere touch of that soft gentle hand or sniggle at the memory of that one in a million warm sweet embrace? Would we hear the drums that beat to the sound of the next progressive action steps towards real justice, real equality, and real respect for human life? Would we hear the cymbals that cling to the brilliance of every creative ingenious thought? Would we eagerly anticipate the crispness of the sunrays beaming through the very core of our mission, purpose, and destiny? Would we be grateful for the tears yet the joys, the excitement, the honesty, the magic, the positive power, the unforged relentless acts of kindness all wrapped up in the unity of love? Would we Waltz across the room in a moment of praise for the gift of life or Dougie through the double French doors in honor of those who have passed away, or Chi-Town Step on the floor of life with vigor, with zeal, with confidence, with joy, and with faith? Would we allow the natural beauty of the crescent moonlight to captivate our hearts and remind us that a new day full of new opportunities is dawning despite the tragic challenging events of the day that just settled in the dusk of the evening? What would we do? Be sure to hit the “Like” button and tell us a few things you believe would be different without love, without music, and/or without June gloom in the comment section below. Hello and welcome to “Weleful Wednesday”… Our little special place where we inhale the sweet aroma of wisdom, courage, and strength as we pursue our mission, fulfill our destiny, and excel to our next level of #GREATERNESS. Yes… We, you and I, experience all this right here in Faith’s Garden of INspiration. After all, it’s the most sacred meeting spot existing on the web today!!!
You know, one of my all-time favorite shows is the “Voice”. My mom and I would watch the show each week and during the commercials we would call each other to discuss our opinions about the performances. I must say, for the most part, those judges are pinned between a wall and a rock because when it’s time to judge-it’s a tough spot. There is so much raw genuine undiscovered talent for the world to receive, enjoy and cherish; how can you just choose one “Voice”. Each participant brings their own story, their own flare, and their own twist to some pretty famous songs by some pretty phenomenal artists. They take what they naturally have, intertwine it with a mix of experiences, emotions, and feedback from the judges to prepare for the live auditions. After a week of preparation, late night rehearsals, and unimaginably cool costume decisions they enter the stage and deliver the best performances of a lifetime. On this journey called life we must also tap into our “Voice”. Some of us have a voice of reasoning, a voice of collaboration and delegation, others a voice of wisdom, a voice of judicial knowledge or a voice of advocacy. Some have a voice of change, a voice of justice, a voice of patience, a voice of tranquility, a voice of peace, a voice of correction and direction. Others have a voice of authority, a voice that demands and commands action, a voice that rings out for equality, and yells at prejudices while it screams at racism. A voice that says “Enough is Enough” and a voice that protests for the greater good of humanity. And some have a voice of historical perspective and outlook, a voice of medical expertise, a voice of scientific breakthroughs, a voice of innovative milestones across various genres. While many of us have a voice of compassion and kindness, a voice of teaching, a voice that parents, coaches, and mentors. And then there are those of us who have a voice of hope and optimism, a voice of love, a voice of faith, a voice of spiritual counseling… We all have a “Voice”. We must know and remember this because the world is in need of our voices. So, whatever you do exercise your “Voice”. Allow yourself to speak with your voice to bring about a greater positive difference in this world, this country, a state, an island, a county, a village, a district, a city, a town, a neighborhood, your block, and/or your very own home. Remember… Your “Voice” Matters!!! Be sure to hit the “like” button and leave a comment about your experiences with using your “Voice”. It’s loaded with organic rejuvenation, nutritious mental strength building, and a hint of spiritual sprouting. Despite it all it’s the perfect time for our “Weleful Wednesday” boost.
As the world continues to turn and these traumatic events continue to spiral across our nation; we must be the bricks that build on and from a foundation of genuine pure love, untainted respect for human life, beyond arms-length heartfelt compassion, unfiltered concern and kindness, and a powerful high beam of light for equality and justice. We all must actively participate in ceasing this debilitating destructive disease of racism and the ongoing malicious infections that wipes out the black man. Then, and only then can we progressively move forward to changing the systematic illnesses within the justice system, within the economic divide, within the displaced yet strategic methods of how resources are allocated to communities, within the abilities to build, create, design, purchase, or own any type of business and within the day to day basic necessities of life like home ownership, employment, and education. So, when we look at rioting, when we look at looting, and when we look at protesting I say we look at each one from a personal intrinsic level. Are we rioting against ourselves when we know we can help, even uplift another human life yet we question it, we doubt it, and we even rebel against it because of our preconceived views of their economic status or their visually painful yet condemned conditions? Are we looting on our own nasty, ugly, disgusting rage of comments that fly from our own mouths in the moment of anger? Are we protesting against ourselves within ourselves when we have ill feelings, negative thoughts, biases, and/or stereotypes against others for any reason; valid or invalid? Are we rioting against our own silence when it softly says we agree to the wrongs, we agree to the division, and we agree to the violent tormenting acts against the black man? Are we looting on our own places of residences that harbor hatred, bigotry, and misplaced anger? Are we protesting against ourselves when we know we are dead wrong? Are we rioting so our concerns can finally be heard, finally be understood, and finally be processed to bring about unity, fairness, and permanent reconstruction of how this world operates? Are we looting on the deep rooted enemy-the rulers of darkness-with the Power of the Word of God? Are we protesting in the spirit realm through prayer and fasting against the spiritual wickedness in high places? Rioting… Looting… Protesting – Just another perspective!!! Never would I have imagined that this world be in the chaotic uproar that it is in right now. It is beyond evident that some people have truly had enough with the injustices that have been allowed to occur over the years. Thus, I am so grateful that you have taken a moment to join us for “Weleful Wednesday” here in Faith’s Garden of INspiration for a taste of blog unity, blog oneness, blog love, respect, and peace.
Today’s Blog is obviously dedicated to the ongoing series of tragic incidents that have spiraled across our nation. I Can’t Breathe… I Can’t Breathe with your knee of oppression in the veins of my neck I Can’t Breathe with the weight of your hatred pinning me down to the concrete leaving me absolutely no way to move I Can’t Breathe with your sneaky tricky conniving partners holding me down in their agreement with your zeal for black people annihilation I Can’t Breathe with your years of injustices smothering my rights to pursue my God given life of brilliance, ingenuity, and one of a kind creativity I Can’t Breathe with your blatant disrespect of who I am as you rolled me over on my stomach and left for me dead I Can’t Breathe with your slave mentality and your systematic policies that restrain my presence and eliminate my existence I Can’t Breathe with these tears of my fears that you have ignited in this moment of viral murder as I took my last moments of breath I Can’t Breathe with your arm of bigotry around my neck as you throw me to the ground, break my arm, dislocate my shoulder, fracture my ribs, snap my knee caps and crack my skull I Can’t Breathe with your fist of hatred violently socking me in the face, violently socking me upside my head, violently socking me in my back I Can’t Breathe with your 9mm firing bullets that sing “go down nigger” in my back as I run with my hands up I Can’t Breathe with your racial and white privilege slurs slapping me in the face, ripping out my heart, plucking out my eyes I Can’t Breathe with your bias statements clouding my ordained amazing abilities, spewing negativity about where I should be, and brewing up ugly nasty images about who I am, what I am, why I am, and how I am I Can’t Breathe with your baton of “you don’t belong here” flying up against my face, my torso, my legs… I Can’t Breathe… Did you hear me? I said… I Can’t Breathe… Did you hear what I said? I Can’t Breathe… Oh, that’s right you can’t hear me… Because I Can’t Breathe!!!!! Be sure to hit the “like” button and leave a comment.
