Did Somebody Say… Exterminator???
And just like that here we are on day 12 of August 2020. I mean, it was just July and now it’s almost half way through the month… My My My!!! What a blessing it is that we can gather here in Faith’s Garden of INspiration to re-energize our souls and rebuild our thoughts. And it still holds true… it’s the #1 place on the web today – “Weleful Wednesday” boost; the best day of the week on any day of the week. Yummy, Yummy, Yummy. Now, let’s eat up.
Last week I did a clip on my FB page titled “Exterminator” and in todays’ blog we are going to take just a few, and I mean just a few minutes, to expound on this topic. When an exterminator shows up to a house, business, facility, etc. their sole purpose is to get rid of, to kill, to destroy whatever little unwanted creatures may be lurking around. Ideally most jobs take one good treatment for one to three days. However; depending on how long the problem may have been in existence and how bad it has gotten, then yes, it will definitely take a few more treatments to do the job. What I’ve learned is that on this journey called LIFE we too have to do some personal exterminating for our continuous positive growth. We must get rid of hate, racial tension, injustice, division, and inequality. We must also get rid of unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, tempers, and malicious thoughts. And we must get rid of doubt, fear, low self-esteem, pride, and stagnation. This ongoing lifelong process is truly essential for us all to soar to our next level of “GREATERNESS” thus extermination is no longer an option. The time is now… A full body, full mind, full soul, and full spirit inspection must take place so that these types of pests can longer reside in us or kill us or kill others.
You see, it is our responsibility to get rid of unhealthy addictions, to kill off generational curses, and to destroy the historical yokes that have caused thousands and millions not only their lives but their livelihoods. And it is our duty to willingly exterminate these things that have no meaning, no purpose, and no reason in or for our lives. Yep. That’s right. That includes revenge, negativity, frustration, self-pity, procrastination, unhealthy eating habits, lack of exercise, mental abuse (especially that we do to ourselves) and anything else you can think of that does harm or poses a danger to us all reaching our victories. And trust and believe there is definitely enough pesticide to get the job done. Maybe your extermination process involves one on one counseling or journaling, o meditating, or group therapy or a combination of any of these proactive pesticides. For my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ we definitely saturate these unwanted creatures with the Word of God to keep our minds transformed and renewed – it’s a daily process. So, I ask you what are you “Exterminating” in your life today?
