Ok… This is truly incredible… Only a day and a half before Christmas – who would have ever imagined that the year would fly by; ok speed by like a bolt of lightening. And while we can definitely say that this has been one of the most of unusual unforgettable years yet… We can ALL say that despite everything that has happened we are beyond blessed and we are continuing to be a blessing to others. So off we go into Faith’s Garden of INspiration for our weekly “Weleful Wednesday” boost – our favorite day of the week on any day of the week. We’re refilling our minds with the most organic nutritious serving of determination, fresh perspective, and a few seeds of courage, wisdom, and insight.
About three weeks ago I was thinking about how one good thought can change the outcome of an entire day. And this is not something I’m just saying to be saying – I mean it and it works when you work it. So in this blog today I am sharing a few of the morning greetings that I have shared with others…
“Someone mentioned to have a good day, to be good to one another, and to take good care and you know what? Come on guess? One more try…. That’s Right. I totally agree. Let’s have a good day filled with good thoughts, good deeds, good snacks, good coffee, and a good word. Let’s be good to one another, to others, to family, to friends, to our neighbors, to ourselves, and yes even to the stranger on the curbside that is in need. And more than ever before let’s take good care – good care of our loved ones, of our homes, and most definitely of our overall emotional, mental, physical, soulful, and spiritual wellbeing.”
“Odd”… I say we continue to be “Odd” in a berry positive delightful awesome prosperous way… “Odd” in that we continue to keep hope alive, “odd” in that we hold on to the gift of life and share some warmth, kindness, and compassion with others, “odd” in that we spread joy, peace, and cheer despite this pandemic, despite the barriers, despite the tragedies… “Odd” in being the beacons of light.”
“I heard it’s the 1st Day of Winter… Funny because yesterday and today will feel just a little bit like summer. Nevertheless We will Rejoice and Be Glad About It. While it’s the 1st Day of Winter let us all be the 1st to say Hello, the 1st to share a compliment, the 1st to reach out to someone in need, the 1st to collaborate on upcoming projects, the 1st to remind ourselves that Victory is ours!!!”
“My… My… My… Indeed, we must continue to be safer than safe. Let’s even be safe in our thoughts, in our emotions, in our processing and internalizing the ongoing updates and statistics, in our going to and fro, in our mannerisms and our actions – especially towards others, in our routine as well as our unexpected duties, and in our dialogue with others - a lot of people are on edge right now. Just Be Safe!!!”
“Some of us often take the time to remind others of when we’ll be unavailable… I say we challenge ourselves and become more unavailable too… Unavailable to negativity, to unhealthy eating, to defeat, to fear, to anger, to disappointment, to frustration, to doubt, to worry, and to stress… YES YES YES … We are definitely unavailable!!!”
That’s right… Just a few Good Thoughts. Now share one or more of yours in the comment section below and be sure to hit the “LIKE” button too.
