Just GO For It!!!

​It's "Weleful Wednesday"... YES YES YES... Our unique moment to unwind, rewind, and incline... unwind from all the sticky gooey challenges, obstacles, and barriers that may have come our way over the past week, rewind on all the moments that brought us joy, that brought us clarity (even if it hurt), and that brought us personal growth, and remain inclined to spread genuine love, to share a kind word, and stay in high pursuit of our next level of #GREATERNESS. All this ... right here in Faith's Garden of INspiration.
 
You know one of my all-time favorite classic comedy movies is “Brewster’s Millions” starring Richard Pryor. In this movie the character, Monte, is presented with an opportunity to acquire $300 million only if he can spend $30 million in 30 days. There were two special clauses in this opportunity: 1) He could not own anything he purchased nor could anything have any value and 2) He could not tell anyone what and why he was doing it. Of course, there was an additional deal – Monte could choose to take $1 million right there and then and walk away. He stood there for a brief moment and contemplated on the deal… He not only shocked himself but he shocked those in the room with him when he said, “I’ll Go For It.” He realized that just the opportunity to even try and spend that amount of money would be more than taking the $1 million dollars and walking away.
 
Below is short video I did on Monday for my FB series “31 Seconds for 31 Days” with TSWFAITH. I just wanna encourage someone today that no matter how strange, no matter how odd, no matter who doesn’t understand, no matter how crazy it may seem, no matter how challenging it can be–IF God has given you a vision – make it plain and run with it. There are so many times on this journey called life that we come to these crossroads where we have to step out on faith to achieve our destiny, our mission, and our purpose. And not everyone will understand what we’re trying to do. Many will think you have gone plum crazy and flew over the cuckoo’s nest. JUST GO FOR IT!!! As long as you’ve prayed, as long as you believe, you know, and you trust the process that’s all that matters. YES. We are to seek wise counsel – yet that counsel should always line up with what God has already placed in our hearts and in our spirits.
