Just a little over a week to go before the last major holiday of the year will be celebrated and here you and I are remaining on this awesome lane of victory. We have gathered here in Faith’s Garden of INspiration to replenish our strength, to lift our spirits, to gain a new perspective on this journey called LIFE. It is our favorite day of the week on any day of the week – “Weleful Wednesday”. No more delays… Let’s get our boost. After all it is the #1 most sacred place on the web today.
These past few weeks I’ve truly been enjoying one of my all-time favorite shows – The Voice. I simply relish in hearing the contestants’ stories, learning about their journeys, and watching their growth as the weeks progressed. While many of them may have deserved to stay; the votes are cast and the contestants rapidly dwindle down. What I noticed this season more than ever before was this common theme being reiterated by the judges… “The Performance of A Lifetime”. Despite my thoughts or even my personal preferences of which contestants should have stayed and which ones should have been voted off; that theme remained prevalent on my mind especially as time passed on. In the recent days I began to reflect on some the remarks stated by the judges… “outstanding, you gave it 100 and then some, this was the truest you yet, best work ever thus far, well executed, you received the advice and executed a stellar performance, this is what hard work looks like, it wasn’t easy yet you proved yourself and the audience wrong, this is it, no matter what happens; after that performance, you can only go higher, amazing, no one like you, keep it up. You see what we must take from these statements is that in order for us to give “The Performance of A Lifetime” we’ve gotta be willing to give it our all, to do what’s right even when we don’t want to, to make the sacrifices with a smile on our face and peace in our hearts, to remain confident in the fact that we do make dreams come true, to study and then apply what we’ve learned, to know that we know that we know we can do it, to respect the value of us reaching our next level of #GREATERNESS, to understand that this too shall pass and that we are enough!!! Now… Let’s have “The Performance of A Lifetime”. That’s right… Share your thoughts about “The Performance of A Lifetime” in the comment section below and be sure to hit the “LIKE” button too.
